
Commonfund (www.commonfund.org) and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) announce the final 2011 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments (NCSE), the most comprehensive annual study of U.S. higher education endowment market values, performance, returns, asset allocation, etc. It includes results of individual schools nationwide and New York area schools.
The third annual NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments (NCSE) for FY2011 (July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011) is the result of a landmark research partnership between NACUBO and Commonfund. Previously, the two organizations conducted separate studies of educational endowments’ investment performance. The previous Commonfund Benchmarks Study of Educational Endowments® and NACUBO Endowment Study were merged to create the first NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments (NCSE) on higher education endowment investment performance, asset allocation and related finance and governance issues. NCSE is the most comprehensive annual survey on higher education endowment and financial management and governance.
Participating institutions in 2010 NCSE represented over $346 billion in combined endowment assets.
